MESED ® ™ (from MEasuring SEDiments) is an instrument that provides the exact volumetry of a sediment like erythrocytes in centrifuged blood or cells in a culture medium or a volume of a viscous liquid like crude oil or butter. This volume is a starting point for subsequent quantitative analysis (e.g. pharmacokinetics, toxicology) and densitometry.
MESED® ™ offers the only method to separate a known volume of 100 µl 96% pure erythrocytes from blood without disturbing their natural environment.
