USE

MESED ® ™ is in three parts: a reservoir (R), a quad-ring (W) and a container (C). The reservoir has a broad (B) and a small (S) chamber. On the border between the broad and small chamber there is an aperture (A) in the reservoir.

R is inserted in C. W closes A. R is filled with max 0,6 ml of blood, culture medium, or an other semiliquid and the unit centrifuged. The semiliquid or sediment of a non-homogenous fluid such as blood is displaced to S.

Next R is repositioned and disengaged from W. A is no longer blocked. The unit is again centrifuged. The surplus of the blood, plasma with the rest of erythrocytes, or the surplus of the semiliquid is vented into C. 0,1 ml of sediment or semiliquid is left behind in S.
